WORKING HARDWARE
WORK THAT CONNECTS DESIGN, FABRICATION AND VALIDATION
Galeb’s work is not limited to one isolated stage of development. His projects often connect circuit thinking, component selection, PCB work, internal wiring, mechanical fabrication, assembly, testing and refinement.
This is especially valuable in custom electronic systems, where the final result depends on the relationship between the circuit, the physical layout, the materials, the interconnections and the way the system is validated.
FOUR PROJECT AREAS IN DETAIL
Audio design, high-power diagnostics and PCB development show how electronic decisions become physical systems.
VACUUM TUBE DAC WITH TDA1541A
A custom stereo DAC project built around the TDA1541A platform, combining digital signal optimization with vacuum tube output stages and careful analog implementation.
This work connects digital audio conversion, analog signal path design, power supply behavior, internal layout and final sonic refinement.
A High-End DAC is not only a circuit. It is a complete signal-path system.
Technical focus
- TDA1541A-based DAC platform
- Vacuum tube output stage
- Digital signal optimization
- Analog stage implementation
- Signal path refinement
- Power supply considerations
- Internal layout and wiring
- Testing and listening validation
Workmanship angle
In a DAC, power, layout, grounding, analog stage behavior and internal construction all influence the final system.
CUSTOM HIGH-END CD PLAYER
A custom High-End CD player integrating Philips CD Pro2 mechanics with D/A conversion based around the TDA1541A platform and refined analog implementation.
The project combines mechanical integration, digital audio handling, converter design, internal layout, wiring and final system tuning.
Mechanical precision and electronic refinement must meet in the same system.
Technical focus
- Philips CD Pro2 integration
- D/A conversion architecture
- TDA1541A platform
- Analog output stage
- Mechanical layout
- Internal wiring
- Power supply behavior
- Signal integrity
- Functional testing
- Final refinement
Workmanship angle
Mechanical stability, internal layout, signal handling and analog implementation must work together.
CLASS D/H HIGH-POWER AUDIO SYSTEMS
Galeb’s experience includes diagnostics and repair of professional high-power audio equipment, including Class D and Class H systems.
These systems demand practical understanding of power stages, switching behavior, thermal stress, protection circuits, load conditions and failure patterns.
High-power systems require diagnosis, not guesswork.
Technical focus
- Class D and Class H stages
- High-power amplifier repair
- Power stage diagnostics
- Switched-mode power supplies
- Protection circuits
- Thermal behavior
- Load-related failures
- Signal and power testing
- Functional validation
Workmanship angle
Repair requires understanding the failure path and validating the system under demanding conditions.
PCB PROTOTYPING & FABRICATION
Galeb’s work includes PCB development and fabrication as part of the complete electronic prototyping process.
This supports rapid iteration, custom circuit development, testing, modification and integration into complete functional systems.
A good board turns a circuit idea into testable hardware.
Technical focus
- PCB design support
- PCB layout preparation
- PCB fabrication
- Fiber laser processes
- Circuit prototyping
- Component placement
- Assembly
- Testing and validation
- Revision and improvement
- Final hardware integration
Workmanship angle
A PCB defines circuit behavior, connection quality and future serviceability.
FABRICATION, DIAGNOSTICS AND CUSTOM SYSTEMS
The remaining project areas are presented compactly so the page keeps its rhythm while preserving the complete technical scope.
CNC-MACHINED PANELS AND CHASSIS WORK
CNC machining of aluminum front and rear panels turns electronic projects into complete physical systems with accurate cutouts and professional finishing.
The front panel is not decoration. It is part of the engineering.
LASER MARKING AND TECHNICAL FABRICATION
Laser processes support chassis identification, panel marking, PCB-related work, customization and repeatable technical finishing.
Precision is visible in the details that others overlook.
3D TECHNICAL MATERIALS AND FUNCTIONAL PARTS
Functional parts, tooling, supports, fixtures and custom solutions support repair, prototyping and mechanical adaptation.
Design, print, test and improve the part that does not exist.
ADVANCED DIAGNOSTIC CASES
Complex faults are approached through system behavior, root cause analysis, measurement-based validation and repair quality control.
The fault is the symptom. The system is the story.
RESONANT POWER CONVERTERS
Resonant converters require understanding of switching behavior, component stress, efficiency, thermal performance and system stability.
In power electronics, the root cause matters more than the failed component.
CUSTOM HIGH-END AUDIO EQUIPMENT
Custom vacuum tube and transistor equipment connects circuit design, signal integrity, mechanical layout, wiring and power supply performance.
In custom High-End audio, the build quality is part of the design.

FROM TECHNICAL IDEA TO FUNCTIONAL HARDWARE
Galeb can understand the concept, design the circuit, prepare the board, fabricate parts, assemble the hardware, inspect the construction and validate the result.
Concept
Understanding the purpose, constraints and technical direction.
Design
Developing the electronic idea, circuit structure and practical implementation.
PCB
Moving from schematic to board, layout, fabrication and revision.
Fabrication
Producing panels, parts, markings and mechanical elements.
Assembly
Building with attention to wiring, connectors, materials and access.
Inspection
Reviewing interconnections, routing, insulation and mechanical fit.
Testing
Measuring, validating and refining the system.
Working hardware
Delivering a functional, serviceable and coherent result.
THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE BUILD
Many electronic systems can be made to function. Fewer are built with clean interconnections, suitable materials, proper routing, inspection, testing and long-term serviceability.
This is where Galeb’s work connects directly with his workmanship approach.
CLEAN BUILD.
CONTROLLED PROCESS.
VALIDATED RESULT.
